Supporting the training of engineers who will lead the next generation

MIMAKI has grown as a manufacturing company over the past 40 years since its establishment. On April 24, 2008, the Company started a scholarship fund with the aims of supporting engineers who can contribute to development of the local economy and of contributing to the community.
We allocate a portion of earnings for development of local industry and grant scholarships to about 10 students every year. Eligible students are those who graduated from a high school in Nagano Prefecture and matriculate in an engineering program at a university, junior college, or college of technology. Scholarship recipients are given 600,000 yen per year and as a general rule have no obligation to repay the money.
The Hachijuni Bank, Ltd. handles general administration, including recruitment, selection, and scholarship provision.
